Who we are

Grabbit ("the game", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile game developed and published by Red Marble Studio. This privacy policy applies to the Grabbit application distributed through Google Play under the package name com.Grabbit.RedMarbleStudio.

By downloading or playing Grabbit, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

Information the game collects

Grabbit does not require an account and does not ask you to provide any personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, or location. We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.

Stored on your device only

Your game progress is saved locally on your device and is not transmitted to us. This includes completed levels and star ratings, your coin balance, purchased and equipped skins, unlocked achievements, and your sound, music, and haptics settings. This data is removed when you uninstall the game.

Gameplay analytics we collect

To understand how the game is played and to improve it, Grabbit records anonymous gameplay events and sends them to our own analytics server. This information is not linked to your real-world identity.

What the analytics data contains
CategoryExamples
Gameplay eventsLevels started, completed, and restarted; apples and coins collected; hazards hit; grabs made; achievements unlocked; screens visited
Economy eventsIn-game coin purchases, ad-reward views, and purchase attempts (in-game coins only — never payment details)
Random identifiersA randomly generated device ID and session ID created by the app. These are not your hardware ID, advertising ID, or Google account.
Technical contextApp version, operating system name (e.g. "Android"), and device language/locale

The random device ID is generated by the app itself to distinguish one installation from another for analytics purposes. It contains no personal information and resets if you clear the app's data or reinstall.

Information collected by third parties

Grabbit uses services provided by Google to show ads and to process purchases. These services may collect information directly from your device, governed by Google's own privacy policies rather than this one.

  • Google AdMob (advertising) may collect device information and identifiers used to serve and measure ads and to limit ad frequency and fraud. Because Grabbit may be played by children, AdMob is configured to serve non-personalized ads only.
  • Google Play Billing (in-app purchases) processes your payment. Payment information is handled entirely by Google and the Google Play Store — we never see or store your card or payment details.

We encourage you to review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy to understand how Google handles data.

How we use information

We use the information described above only for the following purposes:

  • To run the game and save your progress and settings on your device.
  • To understand which levels are difficult, where players drop off, and how features are used, so we can fix problems and improve the game.
  • To display advertising and to apply your "Remove Ads" purchase when active.
  • To process and restore in-app purchases through Google Play.
  • To diagnose stability issues and improve performance.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell your information.

Whether data is shared

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Data is limited to the following:

  • Our analytics server. Anonymous gameplay analytics are transmitted to a server operated on our behalf (hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure) so we can review aggregate gameplay trends.
  • Google. Ad-serving and purchase data are shared with Google as a necessary part of providing ads (AdMob) and processing payments (Google Play Billing).
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or valid legal process.

Aside from these, we do not share collected data with any other third party.

Advertising

Grabbit displays advertising through Google AdMob, including full-screen (interstitial) ads shown between levels and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch for in-game discounts.

Because Grabbit is available to a general audience that may include children, we instruct AdMob to serve non-personalized ads only — ads that are not based on a profile of your past behavior. Ads may still use limited information such as general context and coarse location (e.g. country) as permitted for non-personalized advertising.

Removing ads

You can permanently remove ads by purchasing the "Remove Ads" option in the game's store. Once active, interstitial and rewarded ads are disabled.

Purchases & Google Play Billing

Grabbit offers optional one-time in-app purchases (for example, "Remove Ads" and the "Redline" cosmetic bundle). All purchases are processed through the Google Play Billing system.

When you make a purchase, your payment is handled by Google. We receive confirmation that a purchase was completed so we can unlock the corresponding content, but we do not receive or store your name, card number, or any payment information. Purchases can be restored through the game's "Restore Purchases" option, which queries your entitlements from Google Play.

Refunds and payment disputes are handled by Google Play in accordance with the Google Play Terms of Service.

Analytics & crash reporting

Analytics in Grabbit are provided by our own first-party system rather than a third-party analytics SDK. Gameplay events are buffered on your device, compressed, and periodically uploaded to our server over an encrypted connection while the game is running. Each upload is tagged with the randomly generated device ID, session ID, and app version described in Section 02.

This data is used in aggregate to monitor game balance, detect problems, and guide improvements. It is not used to identify you and is not combined with any personal information.

Data retention & deletion

On-device data. Your saved progress and settings remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the game. Uninstalling removes all locally stored data, including the random device identifier.

Analytics data. We retain anonymous analytics only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, after which it is deleted or further aggregated.

Your right to deletion

You may request deletion of analytics data associated with your installation at any time by emailing redmarblestudio@gmail.com. Because the identifier is random, please include any details that can help us locate the relevant records. You can also stop all further analytics collection by uninstalling the game.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle. Analytics data is transmitted to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection and stored on reputable cloud infrastructure. Payment and ad data are secured by Google's own systems.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Grabbit is suitable for a general audience and may be enjoyed by children. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children in accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Google Play Families Policy, and similar regulations.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information — such as a real name, email, phone number, or precise location — from anyone, including children.
  • Advertising is limited to non-personalized ads, and we use ad configurations intended for child-directed treatment.
  • We do not enable social features, chat, or user-to-user communication.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information you wish to have removed, please contact us at redmarblestudio@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to the game or to legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated within the game or on the Google Play listing. Continued use of Grabbit after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
